How Factoring Connects to Graphing 

 

Whether it be vertex, factored or standard form equations, we can factor them so that we are able to graph it. When we factor we familiarize ourselves with the equation so that we can graph it on a peice of paper. When we factor, we try to make the equation give us more information like the x-intercepts or the vertex. It makes it easier for us to understand how a parabola works and what type of information it tells us.
